Your favorite thing about skiing/ski racing:

The flow!

What has your sport taught you?

Wow! So much. Skiing has taught me how to be patient, how to work hard, how to communicate effectively, be a good teammate, travel efficiently. It has taught me how to be aware of my body, take care of my body and mind, how to appreciate difficult moments, how to grow, how to make friends, to be a part of a community, etc etc etc....

What inspires/motivates you?

People who are able to express themselves through a medium they are clearly passionate about -- whether that's sport, art, music, etc.

Power fuel of choice:

Energy balls! (nut butter + honey + coconut oil (heated and stirred) +  oats, dried fruit, chopped nuts, coconut flakes, cacao nibs, etc!

Favorite workout or exercise:

Anything with a physio/bosu ball -- balance!

Your most valuable mental skill:

Focused and aimed attention in a heated moment -- I have gained this skill through countless hours of meditation and mindfulness work: in the gym, on the ski hill, washing dishes, etc.

Mt. Bachelor, OR!
