Your favorite thing about skiing/ski racing:
The adrenaline rush and the many amazing friends I've made through the sport.
What has your sport taught you?
I've learned how to push myself mentally and physically, how to manage my time efficiently, how to set and pursue goals, and so much more.<
What inspires/motivates you? I am motivated/inspired by my teammates and their hard work. Seeing their drive and their success makes me want to push myself that much harder.
Power fuel of choice:
Pancakes with blueberries, yogurt, peanut butter, and maple syrup.
Favorite workout/exercise:
Any core circuit, and sprints
>Your most valuable mental skill & why?
I think the most valuable mental skill is flexibility. Ski racing is an extremely variable sport, from snow and weather conditions to injuries and recoveries. Being flexible allows an athlete to take what they are given and choose a path forward, rather than get overwhelmed and stationary.
Favorite ski resort in the US:
Deer Valley and Attitash (haha very opposite, I realize)
Favorite race venue in the world:
Cortina D'Ampezzo
Have any unusual talents?
I can name every country in the world!
Advice to Jr Athletes:
